Note: This is a test kit that will be mailed to you and requires a blood draw.

It is your responsibility to arrange the blood draw for your kit.

Special Instruction: Ship to lab Monday-Thursday only.
Specimens must be received in the laboratory within 24 hours of collection.
Prior to collection the Freezer brick must be frozen a minimum of 8 hours before shipping.
It is suggested that the patient eat a variety of foods for 2-3 weeks prior to food antibody testing (except for foods that are known to cause severe reactions). Doing so will help to ensure the presence of antibodies to allergenic foods.
Interfering factors to the antibody test: Glucocorticosteroids (ex:oral prednisone and/or steroid metered-dose inhaler), chemotherapy, immunosuppressive medications.
Non-interfering factors to the antibody test: antibiotics, antihistamines, and antidepressants.
Test may be inaccurate if the patient has liver damage or HIV infection.

Results: 7-10 Business Days
Note: Result turn around times are an estimate and are not guaranteed. Our reference lab may need additional time due to weather, holidays, confirmation/repeat testing, or equipment maintenance.

Test to evaluate serum IgE antibody levels to 14 region specific common pollens and environmental inhalants. This is an ideal test for people with suspected environmental and/or seasonal allergies.
